PROJECT CONSTANTINE
Born inside Azeria. Not a response to a brief, but a question the studio chose to ask.
The question
The question
We started with a simple question:
What should an emotional automobile become in an industry increasingly defined by software, automation and standardisation?
Project Constantine explores
Six principles · 01–06- 01
Proportion
How architecture defines presence before styling begins.
- 02
Mechanical theatre
Technology should not disappear completely behind a screen. Some mechanisms deserve to be seen, touched and heard.
- 03
Tactility
Controls, materials and interfaces should create physical memory.
- 04
Human / Machine
Technology should support the driving experience rather than overwhelm it.
- 05
Craft
A future automobile can still contain evidence of human intention.
- 06
Character
Performance alone does not create desire. A vehicle needs identity.
What should remain human?
Project Constantine is not an exercise in nostalgia.
It is an investigation into what should remain human as the automobile changes.
